Villa Giglio – Chianti is a historic Tuscan villa dating back to the 17th century, built with traditional terracotta and stone. Purchased in 1963 by abstract painter Francesco Clemente, the villa still features examples of his artwork, adding a personal artistic history to the property.

Set in the Chianti countryside of Impruneta, Villa Giglio is surrounded by approximately 20 acres of vineyards and olive groves. The estate produces Sangiovese and Trebbiano wine as well as its own Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The villa is just 1.5 km (0.9 miles) from the centre of Impruneta and approximately 12 km (7.5 miles) from Florence, making it a peaceful countryside retreat within easy reach of the city.

In front of the main entrance, a covered patio provides a shaded setting for outdoor dining and relaxing, furnished with a dining table and comfortable bamboo seating. At the back of the villa, an open-air dining area with a round stone table overlooks the swimming pool, surrounded by laurel and cypress hedges.

❖ The villa is available for short-term rentals of a minimum of one week, preferably from Saturday to Saturday, from April to October. From November to March, a minimum stay of 4 nights applies.
