Villa Leonardo da Vinci is a historic Tuscan castle built almost 500 years ago and once one of the twelve hunting residences of Grand Duke Ferdinando I de’ Medici, grandson of Lorenzo Il Magnifico. Set on a hill surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, the castle overlooks the valley connecting Florence and Lucca and retains much of its original architectural character.

Built almost 500 years ago, Villa Leonardo da Vinci has been carefully renovated while retaining its original character and historic decorations. Its distinctive interiors include a billiard room opposite the original Renaissance sacred chapel, a Hunting Room and an Armors Corridor decorated with impressive ironwork.

During spring and summer, guests can enjoy meals and refreshments outdoors in the Italian garden or beside the swimming pool. Inside the castle, an elegant dining room features a large wooden table and royal-style chairs. Fine table linens, silver cutlery and porcelain from the Prince family’s private collection are also available for guests.
